In recent years, the creation of new value through the use of IoT, Big Data, and AI has become increasingly important, and the construction sector is also expected to realize such value. 

This course aims to provide new solutions and solve social issues by analyzing data and information obtained from construction machinery through machine learning and AI. 

One of the challenges facing construction machinery is that, depending on how it is used and the operating environment, sudden failures may occur that cannot be prevented by routine maintenance alone.  

To address these issues, we are researching methods to understand the condition of components from hydraulic excavator sensor data and to predict failures (health monitoring of hydraulic excavators).
